1. The B School If you are a photographer and want have access to an online community of fantastic photographers, go there now. I’ve been a member for a little while now but am pushing myself to be more of an active member and am learning so much already. In fact, just yesterday I posted a question and within hours, several had responded with suggestions and solutions which led me to finding the… 2. Imagenomic Noiseware Plug-in An easy to use filter which will work magic on your images – I LOVE it! 3. Batch Processing in Photoshop CS3 No link for this one, although there are links out there on how to do this. I’m currently running a batch process using Totally Rad Action’s Slice Like A Ninja (a sharpen action) on an entire folder of images (it runs the action and saves where I tell it to go), and will then I’ll run another that I created to use the Noiseware filter. Way better than opening up each picture and doing the same two things on them over and over and over again. 4. Digital Photographer Magazine Picked this UK magazine up at Costco for $9 and change yesterday. Great article about getting started with wedding photography – especially loved the images from their Trash the Dress session – I so want to do one of these soon! Also really great article comparing tripods – I need a new one of these and will be looking on Amazon tonight to see if I can find their recommended model for a decent price. 5. Books arriving from Amazon today: Understanding Shutter Speed: Creative Action and Low-Light Photography Beyond 1/125 Second Understanding Exposure: How to Shoot Great Photographs with a Film or Digital Camera (Updated Edition) Professional Wedding Photography: Techniques and Images from Master Photographers (Pro Photo Workshop)

Twitter-ing

I've resisted the urge of Twitter for quite some time. But since I have networking on the brain lately, and Twitter is a social networking tool, I figured I'd give it a try! Peter's been "twitter-ing" (not sure if this is a word) for a couple of months now, so he's my only contact so far. I don't know of anyone personally who is, although I see I can search online by topic. I'm planning to a search for "photographers" to see who I can find! Here's my Twitter page : You can follow my activities by checking out my Twitter page in the link above or right here on my blog in the sidebar since I found a Twitter Widget! If you find me on Twitter, let me know! I'd love to follow you too!
